Port Blair, Jan 04: It is brought to the notice of general public and electricity consumers that due to maintenance of 01 No. 5 MW DG Unit at IPP Bambooflat on 08.01.2017, rotational load shedding of 01 Hrs. during evening peak hours from 5 PM to 11 PM will be carried out in Port Blair and South Andaman area.

The schedule is tentative and may change any time subject to availability of power generation and variation in demand or due to other technical reason.
Apart from the evening peak hours, rotational loading shedding of one hour will also be carried out during night and day hours on as and when required basis subject to demand and availability of power. The electricity consumers are requested to cooperate with the department. The inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.
