Rangat, Dec 22: On 17.12.2016, an awareness programme for the PRI members, shopkeepers and general public was conducted at PS Rangat Conference Hall. During the program, Shri George Lalu, Dy. SP Rangat, Smt. Renu Lall, Deputy Manager, SBI Rangat & Inspector P.K. Abdul Arif, SHO PS Rangat focused and elaborated the benefits of cashless transactions. Shopkeepers were advised to install POS Machines at their shops to minimize cash transactions. The participants were also briefed about different methods of using Net Banking. The State Bank of India officials briefed the participants about the various apps of cashless transactions and also clarified the doubts raised by the participants. But on the same time public has also been advised not disclose their ‘Bank Details’ like ATM Card Number, OTP ATM PIN and CVV number with any unknown person.
Similar awareness programme was also organized by Police in the premises of State Bank of India, Baratang.
