Port Blair, Dec 17: The Andaman Trunk Road, the lifeline of Andaman Group of Islands will remain closed on 18 & 19 December for maintenance it is learnt.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman said that the Andaman Trunk Road the road will be kept closed following a request from Andaman Public Work Department for the same.
It is learnt that 3/4 portion of Andaman Trunk Road has suffered serious damaged due to landslide in certain part, for which two days closure is a must to ensure proper repair.
