Port Blair, Dec 14: A meeting was held in the Chamber of Officiating Chairperson, Smt. Kiran Tigga with the Head of the Coaching centers on 14th December 2016 at 11 AM.
The head of the centers shared their views/suggestions viz phone calls/SMS alerts to the parents of the absentee students, monthly report from the coaching centre, PTA meeting along with one of the Member of the Commission, wide publicity about the Commission to the parents, maintaining attendance register in all coaching centers, facilities like waiting rooms for students, CCTV cameras to monitor students etc. with the Commission for the betterment of the students of these islands.
It was also discussed in the meeting that the Commission may inspect a surprise visit to any of the coaching institute for the regular check-up and monitor the same.
