Diglipur, Dec 08: Due to heavy winds and rain there is a frequent power cut in entire Diglipur area and the lone fuel station at Diglipur which is operated by ANIIDCO is totally shut down.
The pump is only operational when electricity is available and the generator set is non operational since Saturday 03rd December 2016 due to electrical problems.
The ANIIDCO authorities informed that the demand for repair is already sent to Port Blair Head Quarters and concerned team has to report for the faulty generator set. If the situation is not taken under control the general public have to suffer a lot due to the lack of fuel availability.
