Port Blair, Dec 07: One person have been questioned by CID and Police team on Tuesday night for allegedly selling cold drinks and soda bottles with Pakistani stickers and markings.
As per reports, some bottles of Udaya Drinks, being sold in Andaman, carried Pakistani stickers and markings with address of a Pakistani Company ‘Sehnaz Enterprises” printed on it. These bottles were sold from some shops of Rangachang and Burmanallah areas.
Sources said that all those bottles were distributed by ‘Udaya Drink’ Company situated at Garacharma. The CID unit and Tylerabad Police after investigation called up the owner of the Udaya Drink, Mr Nancowry for questioning.
During preliminary inquiry he told the Police that all those bottles were purchased from a scrap dealer of Chennai but the scrap dealer did not remove stickers and markings. It is learnt that now CID will look into this matter. Further details in this case are awaited.
