Port Blair, Dec 05: The Directorate of Tourism, A&N Administration has prepared a draft regulation for various tourist activities in the Islands namely “the Andaman Nicobar Islands Tourism Trade Regulation, 2014”. The draft regulation envisages compulsory registration of all tourist trade activates with the Directorate of Tourism. The draft regulation is now available in public domain for inviting comments, suggestions, objections, if any, from the people engaged in tourist related activities, local tourist stake holders, general public, tourists, etc with regard to provisions contained in the draft. The draft regulation can be downloaded from the Tourism Department website www.andamans.gov.in
It is requested that comments, suggestions, objection, if any, with regard to the draft regulation may be sent to Director (Tourism), A&N Administration, Port Blair formally on or before 20th January, 2017.
