Sheekha Bureau
Port Blair, Dec 02: A group of workers working in Nepali Security Service recently met the Andaman Sheekha Correspondent of Billyground, Middle Andaman and complained that they are not getting salary in time and their employers are not giving any details about EPA accounts and salary slips.
They also brought letters submitted to Nepali Security Services regarding this matter as an evidence. When Andaman Sheekha correspondent called up the owner of the Security Services to know the details the owner reportedly hurled abusive words and threaten to kill the correspondent if this matter is reported in newspaper.
Not only this, the owner used different numbers to call the correspondent repeatedly to threaten him.
The matter was then reported to the Editor of Andaman Sheekha on the same day and on Editor’s advice an NC FIR was filled at PS Billyground this regard and surprisingly by next day only salary was credited in the accounts of all workers, which were pending since last two months.
When contacted from Andaman Sheekha’s Port Blair’s Bureau the owner of the Nepali Security Service rubbished the allegations of threatening Andaman Sheekha correspondent.
“We don’t have any dues and all the payments have been made which can be cross checked from banks. Even though, my fault is there I am ready to pay the penalty. Neither I used any vulgar language nor threatened the correspondent,” claimed the owner of Nepali Security Guard.
Meanwhile details of all mobile and landline numbers used to threaten Andaman Sheekha Correspondent have been given to police for further investigation.
