Port Blair, Nov 28: Shri Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament, A & N Islands has tried to reach out to the people and explain the long term benefits to the honest and the commoners in view of sensing the difficulties being faced by the general public on denomination of 500 & 1000 currency notes.
The visual clip in a large size screen erected over a vehicle in respect of appeal of Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India during a public program at Goa had been displayed in which the PM explained about the greater objective in the implementation of the scheme and asked the people to bear the difficulties upto December 30, 2016.
The speech emphasis the demonetization scheme will not only help in unearthing of Black money hidden by the corrupt people, but will also help the curbing of terrorist activities & fake currency menace.
Shri Modi appealing to the people has urged the people to bear the transformation difficulties in the greater interest of the country, in the said public address.
Apart from the screening of Prime Minister’s speech in a larger size screen, the MP also shown power point presentation on Ill effect of Zarda, Pan masala, tobacco etc and scheme of Pradan Mantri Surikshit Matritva Abhyan launched by the PM for pregnant women and delivered speech at Wandoor and Mangultan, on 27th November. Large number of people were gathered and extended their heartfelt support and cooperation in this regard.
In the said programme, besides the Member of Parliament, Shri Prakash Adhikari, State General Secretary, BJP, A & N Islands, Shri Ram Das ,District President, BJP ,South Andaman, Shri.Ram Bala, Pradhan, Wandoor ,Shri.Adhir Das ,Up-Pradhan, Wandoor, Shri Bharat Sharma, active member BJP,Smti.Sriti Kundu, Mondal President, BJP, among others were present on the occasion.
