Port Blair, Nov 23: The Social Welfare Department will be celebrating “International Day for Divyang” on 3rd December, 2016 in a befitting manner at Netaji Stadium from 10.00 am onwards. Indoor and outdoor programmes like Frog Race, Sack Race, Spoon Race, Musical Chair and Drawing competition will be conducted during the occasion. The Honorable Lt. Governor, A & N Islands will be the Chief Guest on the occasion, The Sports meet function will be held at 03:30 pm on the same day.
All the Persons on special needs/Children with special need from various schools with parents, attendants are requested to make it convenient to participate in this function and make it a grand success. Necessary bus service from Transport Department has been arranged in various routes for picking and dropping the Disabled persons as per the details given below:-
