Port Blair, Nov 23: The Nehru Yuva Kendra, Campbell Bay today inaugurated a 5 days Training on Youth Leadership and Community Development at recreation Hall of Govt SSS, Campbell Bay. The training will be concluded on 26th November, 2016. In this training 40 youth are participated. The programme inaugurated by Smti lata Singh, Principal, GSS, Campbell Bay, and Resource Coordinator Campbell Bay by lit lamp and she also spoke on the occasion to enhance capacities of young people to take leadership to help others to live a meaningful life and contribute towards Nation Building.
While Shri Ravindra Baroi, PGT and Shri Manoj Ku. Gupta, GTT also present to grace the occasion.
The Eminent resource persons will be invited to interact with youth on theissues of patriotism, moral values, character building, respect for dignity of females, national security and integrity as well as understanding of social dynamics of rural communities, personality development, manage the youth clubs, knowledge of the India Culture and tradition, Indian Villages, PRI system, Moral Values, Civic Education, rural development and community welfare programme,Leadership, Communication Skills, Computer Literacy, IT and social media skill, life skills, Programme management, Good citizen ship, responsible citizens, coordination and linkages with other departments, community development, need of physical health & Hygiene and Time management.
Today, Shri Rahul Singh, BE (civil) a dynamic youth of Campbell Bay has engaged the session on necessary skills and techniques for the personality development.
Earlier, Shri Gopal Ch Biswas of NYK, Campbell bay delivered welcome speech and Shri Joseph John, DYC, Campbell Bay briefing the aims and objective of the programme.
