Port Blair, Nov 16: On the eve of children’s day, Peace Foundation, Port Blair conducted a Dental Health Camp at Berachah Love Home situated at Prothrapur, a home for underprivileged, needy and orphaned children.
Dr. K M Ashif, Dental Surgeon and President, Peace Foundation initiated the camp by narrating short inspirational stories to the children motivating them to set goals in their life.
He then educated the children about the importance of dental hygiene, common dental ailments, its management and home remedies.
The children showed great interest and inquisitiveness while interacting with the volunteers and asking further more questions related to oral health. Rev. S. Bhaskar Joseph of Berachah Love Home thanked Peace Foundation for their moral and selfless service to the children’s of the orphanage.
During the camp toothbrushes and sweets were also distributed among the children. The dental camp is one of the many social events organized by Peace Foundation throughout the year.
