Port Blair, Nov 11: On the occasion of Children’s Day on 14th November, 2016, I, Smt. Kiran Tigga, Officiating Chairperson, A&N UT Commission for Protection of Child Rights, extend my wishes and warm greetings to the children of these islands. I urge the children to follow the path shown by Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru.
The children of these Islands are very talented and they need to show case their talent in every field and excel in their life and achieve greater heights. There are various Laws enacted by the Government of India to safeguard their rights and the Commission is committed towards Welfare and Development of Children of these Islands.
