Port Blair, Nov 08: An Awareness Programme of “Drug Abuse and Alcoholism” was held on 08/11/2016 at 6.00 am in the premises of Sanitary site office Ward No. 13 Goal Ghar, Port Blair. This Programme was organized for the Sanitary Workers in Sanitary Site office Goal Ghar.
Sanitary Workers are attended the Programme, Mr. Mahinder Prasad, Ex-Councilor, attended the programme and expressed his happiness for Organizing such programme for works in presence of Smt. Upasana Prasad, Councillor (Ward No.13) and M.A Sajid, State General Secretary, NSUI,(National Students Union of India, A & N Islands).
The person from Tata Institute of Social Sciences has given certain views and remedies for how to get rid from the Alcohol Substance.
Mr. A.K.Biswas ,probation officer from the Directorate of Social Welfare, has given a certain detailed of various schemes of the Dept.
