Port Blair, Nov 07: A speedy bike that was going towards Dairyfarm hit a Bus this morning at Junglighat area. It has been learnt that the bike rider suffered major injuries in the accident.
As per sources, one of a car was taking a turn just opposite to Friends View CD Center, Junglighat and looking at that the bus driver suddenly applied sudden brakes, but unfortunately the bike that was behind the bus couldn’t control the bike and smashed the bus from behind, after which the bike came under the wheels of the bus.
Sources said that just because the rider was wearing helmet he survived the accident, however he suffered other major injuries.
Presently the young rider is admitted in the GB Pant Hospital.
Aberdeen Police Unit has registered a case in this regard. Further details are awaited.
