Port Blair, Nov 07: A Red Snake was rescued from Sudha furniture shop situated at Middle Point this evening. As per reports, the snake was 5 feet and 2 inches long and was weighing around 3kg.
The Snake was first sighted by the workers of the furniture shop after which the matter was reported to the Forest Department.
On information a team of Forest Department under the overall supervision of Deputy Ranger Manjit Singh reached the spot and rescued the snake.
