Port Blair, Nov 02: Directorate of Industries, Andaman & Nicobar Administration through its branch office Industries Training Centre, Diglipur started three months training programme in “Coconut Shell Handicrafts” and three months training programme in “Tailoring & Garment making” under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana” at Model Village, Ram Nagar. The primary focus of the programme is to generating self employment among the unemployed youths of Ram Nagar Village. The training programme commenced on 1st November, 2016 with 18 candidates enrolled for Coconut Shell Handicraft and 20 candidates enrolled for Tailoring & Garment making of Ram Nagar Village, Diglipur. The programme was inaugurated by Shri. Shyamal Mondal, Pramukh, Panchayat Samiti, Diglipur in presence of Shri. Swapan Kumar Biswas, Pradhan, Ram Nagar and Panchayat Samiti member Shri. Jadav Samadder and others PRIs and villagers.
