Port Blair, Nov 02: An Army fire personnel namely Riyazuddin of 20 Grenadiers reportedly died this afternoon at 15 Assam Regiment during a fire fighting drill.
As per unconfirmed reports, the Jawan is from Banaras, UP and he got married just six months ago.
It is learnt that when he was trying to open the fire extinguisher the fire extinguisher exploded.
However, the PRO of ANC could not be reached at night even after repeated attempt for a comment in this regard.
