Port Blair, Oct 31: A Run for unity as been conducted by DEO, Rangat in which hundreds of students of GSSS Rangat, GSSS Sabari Jn, GMS Janakpur, GMS Parnashala and GSSS Bakultala participated. The run started from Zilla parishad Hall to Rangat Bus Stand accompanied by the Principal, GSSS Sabari, GSSS Rangat, Teaching and Non –Teaching staffs of Education Department. The Run Flagged of by the DFO Mr Bharat Maheswari, in the presence of Mr Sushen Mallick, Deputy Education Officer, Rangat. Students run holding placard giving a message for unity, integrity and security of Nation.
The Run ended at Bus stand of Rangat and DEO briefed to the students and gathering emphasizing the visions and action of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The DEO, Rangat also administrated the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas to all officials.
