Port Blair, Oct 28: The three-day in-service training programme (Under Centrally Sponsored Scheme for Teacher Education) for Primary School Teachers (PSTs) organized by the Zonal Office (Edn.), South Andaman in collaboration with DIET on Content Enrichment & Pedagogy concluded at Dr. S.Radhakrishnan District Institute of Education & Training (DIET) on Friday.
Dr.J.D.Singh, Principal, TGCE distributed certificate to the participants and resource persons. He advised the participants to implement the modules provided during the training programme and enrich the content in their respective subjects. He further highlighted the role of teacher as a changing agent in the present scenario of challenging issues faced by the community.
Smt Seema, PST attached to GPS Nayasher and Mr S.Arulanandu, PST attached to GMS New Bimblitan shared their experiences about the training programme.
Earlier, the Principal, DIET welcomed the gathering, while Mr H.Nathaniel, DEO South Andaman proposed the vote of thanks.
