Port Blair, Oct 26: The State Level National Talent Search Examination (NTSE Stage-I), 2016-17 for the eligible students presently studying in class X (Tenth) and the National Means-cum -Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) Examination, 2016-17 for the eligible students presently studying in class VIII (Eighth) will be conducted in A & N Islands on 5th November, 2016 from 10:00 Am to 1:00 PM.
About 1574 students are expected to appear in the NTS (Stage-I) Examination and 624 students are expected to appear in the NMMSS Examination from 16 (sixteen) examination centres of A & N Islands.
Admission cards/ Hall Tickets of the students of class VIII and X who are found eligible as per the guidelines of NCERT and MHRD, New Delhi to appear in the examinations have been issued to the concerned Zonal Officers/DDOs/HOIs. All the students are requested to report to the respective Centre Superintendents 30 minutes before the scheduled time of the examination along with their Admission Card/ Hall Ticket issued from State Institute of Education, Port Blair.
