Port Blair, Oct 25: A 3 meter long, King Cobra weighing around 2.5 kg was rescued from Nayagaon, Doctors Colony this evening at around 08:30pm.
As per reports, the King Cobra snake was sighted eating a Rat Snake by the Owner of a House after which the matter was immediately reported to the Forest Department.
On information Deputy Ranger Manjit Singh and staff Shajjad Ali immediately reached the spot and rescued the snake.
