Port Blair, Oct 24: A minor girl attempted suicide by consuming poison this morning at around 11:00am at her house situated at Guptapahara, Port Blair.
As per reports, the girl, 16 year old, is studying in class XI of Manglutan School.
As per sources the girl wanted to marry a boy but her parents had refused because of her tender age, following which the girl took this extreme step. The girl is presently admitted in the Intensive Care Unit, GB Pant Hospital.
