Port Blair, Oct 23: A 45 year old woman namely Varlaxmi attempted to commit suicide yesterday at her home situated at Peema Tikrey.
As per reports, the lady was under depression and was under psychiatric treatment at GB Pant Hospital and at hospital at Andhra Pradesh since last one year.
The lady was immediately rushed to the GB Pant Hospital yesterday afternoon after the family members saw her attempting self immolation bid.
She is presently under medical treatment at GB Pant Hospital.
