Port Blair, Oct 05: A meeting was held in the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman with all the Pramukh and Pradhan of South Andaman District by Secretary-cum-Director, RD, PRIs &ULB on 04/10/2016 at 12.00 (N) regarding all the issues taken by PRI’s member such as fund availability certificate, timely completion of work order, amendment of GIA Rules and fund release etc.
In this connection the Secretary-cum-Director discussed the issues of fund released in Gram Panchayats, fund availability certificate, terms and conditions of work order impediments. All the issues were discussed thread base and clarity was given on various issues. Secretary RD further informed that regular monthly meetings are being organized with Panchayats Secretary and JE’s to monitor and speed up the progress of various RD works. Also he stated that now monthly regular meetings shall be organized with Pradhan’s to adjust all the doubts and keep them abreast with the regulations and orders.
