Port Blair, Sept 30: As part of 62nd Wildlife Week Celebration a Car Rally from Port Blair to Diglipur is organized by the Department Environment and Forests to create awareness among the Islanders about the Conservation and protection of wildlife. Shri. Anindo Majumdar, Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, will flag off the rally from Cellular Jail at 7.00 am on 01.10.2016.
Andaman & Nicobar Forest will take on United Sporting Club, Junglighat in the first semi-final and Wimberlygunj Zone will lock horns Young star, Bathu Basti in the Forest Martyrs rolling Trophy Knockout football tournament. Both matches will be played at JNRM football ground on 1.10.2016 at 0730 hours and 0930 hours.
