Port Blair, Sept 30: Smt. Kiran Tigga, Officiating Chairperson, A&N UT Commission for Protection of Child Rights expressed her heartfelt condolence on the death of a 10 years old girl, Kumari S. Usha Rani, D/o Somaya Murthy, a student of Bambooflat School, who died on 29th September, 2016 after being electrocuted by a pole of hoarding standing within the boundary of the School as the said pole was direct contact with a live electric wire.
On behalf of the A&N UT Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Smt. R Geetha Raj, Member, UTCPCR also paid a visit to the residence of the Shri Somaya Murthy, Naya Basthi, Bambooflat on 30.09.2016.
