Port Blair, Sept 29: On 21.09.2016, Shri Parvinder Singh, Superintendent of Police, North & Middle Andaman District alongwith Shri George Lalu, DANIPS, Dy. SP (Rangat/Diglipur) held a crime review meeting with the SHOs of North & Middle Andaman District i.e. Diglipur, Kalighat, Mayabunder, Billiground, Rangat, Kadamtala and Baratang. Apart from reviewing the investigations of all pending cases, the Superintendent of Police, North & Middle Andaman District stressed upon checking illicit distillation of liquor, illegal sale of IMFL, organizing of awareness camp on cyber crime in Panchayat and School level, ensuring security at the Helipads, conducting of special drive against drunken driving, arrangements for Durga Puja celebration etc.
