Port Blair, Sept 29: A resident of Panchayat Ghar, Wimberlygunj today survived even after a suicide attempt.
It is learnt that a man namely Jamuluddin aged 53 years a resident Wimberlygunj attempted suicide by hanging himself.
On information the police team of Bambooflat rushed the spot shifted the person to the G B Pant Hospital when found that the person is still alive.
However some people of the area claim that the Police Team delayed nearly half an hour to rush the person to the Hospital, thinking that he is dead but senior police officer rubbished such claims.
