Port Blair, Sept 28: The Botanical Survey of India, Andaman & Nicobar Regional Centre, Port Blair conducted two day Hindi workshop from Sept 27 for generating interest, encouragement and awareness about the use of ‘Hindi’ in the official work amongst the officers and employees.
Inaugurating the workshop, Dr. Lal Ji Singh, Deputy Director & HOO, emphasized upon the importance of using Hindi works in the office as well as in day to day life. He also urged all the staffs to signature in Hindi in all their application, attendance registers etc.
Dr. Sanjay Mishra, Hindi Officer and Scientist B of this office was the resource person for this occasion. During this workshop he gave training on Official letter writing in Hindi to all the staffs. Dr. Jagadeesh Ram T.A.M., Scientist –D welcomed the gathering and Mr Gautam Anuj Ekka, Preservation Assistant Grade –I proposed vote of thanks.
