Port Blair, Sept 28: Sighting of crocodile near Junglighat Jetty has triggered panic among fishermen and workers working near the jetty area. According to the Fishermen since last 3-4 days the crocodile has been sighted multiple times.
A team of Forest Department has also been informed and they are also continuously keeping eye on the area.
As per a higher officer of the Forest Department, the Crocodile is getting easy food from the fishermen of the Fish Landing Center, Junglighat, who throw all the waste of Fish into the sea.
Meanwhile, all the general public has been advised not to go for fishing near the sea beach of Junglighat Jetty or swim and also not to throw waste into the sea.
