Port Blair, Sept 27:The Government of India, Ministry of Textiles, office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), HMSEC here will organize an awareness camp on Handicrafts at Car Nicobar on Sept 28 at ITC, Car Nicobar at 02:00 pm for issuance of Artisan I.D card to the uncovered existing certified Artisans of Car Nicobar and to disseminate the information about the various schemes of DC(Handicrafts). All Artisans have been requested to attend the camp along with copy of Aadhar card, Bank Pass book, craft certificate (if any) and 2(two) stamp size colour photograph with white background, so that they can be issued temporary ID card on-the spot and subsequently they will be linked with the direct benefit schemes of DC(Handicrafts).
