Port Blair, Sept 19: Here is a good news for Port Blarians, the city’s biggest State Transport Service Bus Stand situated at Aberdeen Bazaar will be soon getting its first air conditioned waiting room.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha, the Secretary Transport, Mr Ramesh Verma said that the STS Bus Stand, Aberdeen Bazaar will get an air conditioned waiting room within two months.
He said that all the process for the project is almost completed and the project will be a reality soon.
“Not only this, by next week, a canteen will also start operating at the STS Bus Stand,” Mr Verma added.
Mr Verma also said that the STA is planning to construct proper shed for busses so that it becomes easier for the passengers.
