Port Blair, Sept 09: A Science & Art Exhibition named “SPECTRUM” was held at Navy Children School on 07 Sep 16. The exhibition showcased the potential of the children and acted as a platform to exhibit their creativity in the various fields of science and art.
The tiny tots of Primary section presented a model depicting functioning of Local self-government, simulated the night sky explaining various constellations, created working models of hydraulic crane and hot air balloons and displayed puzzles created on various subjects. The dramatics / society staged skit on various burning issues such as feminism, child education and gender equality.
Various other models like catapult, guillotine, physical features of India, cross- section of the earth, ATM machine, different sectors of economy, hologram projectors, proximity sensor based on light ray obstruction, virtual reality sets depicting scientific concepts and a wide array of artwork by the young artists of the school were some of the main attractions. The mesmerising display of Art & Craft especially the tattoo-making.
The enrolled guests and visitors who were thoroughly impressed by the d in-depth knowledge of the students and complimented the Principal, teachers and the students for a wonderful show.
