Usha reiterated that the Construction of this drain will mitigate the tribulations being faced by the citizens residing within the area especially during rainy season. She informed that for the last ten years citizens are facing problems due to ineffectual storm water drainage system that are blocked recurrently. The Executive Engineer (Wks), Mr A. K. Paul informed the gathering that the total estimated cost for construction of major drain is approximately Rs.88.00 lakhs.
