Port Blair, Sept 06: On the occasion of Teachers’ Day celebration on 5th Sept. 2016 Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir Secondary School (E.M), Prothrapur, Port Blair honoured Mr. Naresh Chandra Lall son of the soil, recipient of Padma Shree in the Sharda Mandap of SSVM at 11am.
Soon after his arrival at the school gate Mr. J.P.Mishra, Secretary of SSVM Mr. S.K.Singh, Retd. Principal and Academic Advisor of the school garlanded Padma Shree Naresh Chandra Lall.
During the programme Mr. J.P.mishra, Secretary of SSVM honoured Mr. Naresh Chandra Lall with shawl and soon after Mr. S.K.Singh Academic Advisor of the school read out the Samman Patra in honour of Mr. Naresh Chandra Lall.
Smti Rekha Rani Dhar Principal of SSVM presented the Memento to Mr. Naresh Chandra Lall, After that Mr. Naresh Chandra Lall honoured all the teachers with gift arranged by the members of School Parliament and all other children of Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir.
During the programme, Mr. Naresh Chandra Lall delivered a very encouraging speech for children and assured of giving maximum help and support to school for the children in the art and culture which he possesses.
The children presented the life sketch of Dr. Radha Krishnan before the audience with his inspiration. After which a colourful cultural programme was seen at the stage which was befitting for the occasion. The whole progrmme was organized by the students of School Parliament.
