Campbell Bay, September 02: The only network provider of the Great Nicobar Island, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, has failed once again to provide the network services at the island since last three days, leaving thousands of people in total isolation.
As per the residents of Campbell Bay, since 31/08/2016 landline, Mobile networks and even Broadband services are out of order in the Island.
“A BSNL Engineer reached here yesterday and till now he has managed to rectify the Broad Band Services only, we appeal the Andaman Nicobar Administration to intervene into this matter and help us in coming out of this isolation,” said a resident of Campbell Bay who managed to contact us through social media. However, the reason behind this network failure is not yet known.
