Port Blair, Aug 17: The Lt Governor, Lt Gen A K Singh (Retd), has directed the Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Power) to review and assess the power situation as complaints regarding power cuts and shortage have shown upward trend in recent times.
He directed the Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Power) to take remedial measures to get the power situation rectified and put up a daily situation report for disruption prone areas.
