Port Blair, Aug 11: On the occasion of the 70th Independence Day, a countrywide ‘Know Your Forces’ programme has been organised to foster a greater understanding of the armed forces amongst the citizens. Accordingly INS Karmuk a Guided Missile Corvette will be open for visitors from 11 am to 5 pm at Haddo jetty on Aug 13. Residents of Mayabunder and Kamorta and adjoining areas can also view the Indian Navy’s Landing Ship INLCU 39 and Fast Attack Craft INS Battimalv at Mayabandar and Kamorta respectively from 11 am to 5 pm on Aug 15, 2016.
