Port Blair, Aug 11: With the beginning of the monsoon season, the Department of Tourism, A&N Administration is organizing the much well awaited MONSOON FESTIVAL on 14th & 15th August 2016 with the support of Tourism stakeholders, SHGs, NGOs and departments like Art & Culture, Agriculture, Police (Prison), Fisheries, PBMC at ITF Ground, Port Blair from 3.00 PM to 10.00 PM. The objective for organising such event is to promote Andaman as “Round the year tourist destination”. The full swing arrangements have been made for making your holiday most enjoyable, relaxing and celebrating the mood of Independence Day. The food lovers can enjoy the delicious homemade food, kids can participate in fun games and art lovers can as well enjoy the handicrafts made of local produce items. In addition to documentaries on Andaman’s presented by Tourism Department. A pleasant rocking musical night will also be an added attraction for the Islanders.
