Port Blair, July 28: The Andaman Sai Seva Samiti (ASSS), A&N Islands in collaboration with Saraswati Shishu Vidiya Mandir Secondary School observed the first death anniversary of Late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on Wednesday. A pious programme for the welfare of the students, the Andaman Sai Seva Samiti established a Free Coaching Centre for students from the deprived and weaker sections of the society was inaugurated in the premises of the school. The students of class X, XI & XII will be beneficiaries of this facility. For X (Maths, English and Science) the students class XI & XII can avail English only has been arranged to be taught by veteran and experienced teachers. In the function, a holy book Sri Sai Gyaaneshwari was released by the chief guest, Mr Uday Kumar, Ward Councillor PBMC in the presence of Mr Ghanshyam, President, Andaman Sai Seva Samiti, Mr Satish Chander Nath, General Secretary, Mr. J.P. Mishra, Secretary, Akhil Bharatiya Vidhya Parishad, A & N Islands, Smt Rekha Rani Dhar, Principal, Saraswathi Shishu Vidya Mandir, Secondary School, Mr R. P. Yadav (Executive Committee Member, Sai Samiti) and Mr S.K. Singh, Academic Advisor, students, Sai Samiti Members, Mr Selva Kumar, President, New Sun Auto Union, Bathu Basthi and others.
The authors of the book, Mr Rakesh Juneja and Mr Venkata Ramana spoke on the important themes of Sri Sai Ghyaneshwari granth, Jail mein sai, sai hee kyon and explained how the books is useful for the enlightened persons and general mass of the people for the developing the moral and spiritual values of life. Mr Venkat narrated the qualities of the writer Mr. Rakesh Juneja in touching the different dimensions’ of the feelings of human life which may go a long way to foster peace progress and prosperity in the present day circumstances of present day society. Mr Venkata Ramana added the preaching of the author will ultimately helps in established world peace.
