Port Blair, July 25: Air India has confirmed to operate chartered flights on Kolkata –Port Blair- Kolkata sector on Second and Fourth Thursdays in August and September, 2016 i.e. 11 th and 25 August and 8th and 22nd September 2016.
The cost of ticket for the Islanders in August & September 2016 will be @ Rs. 3400/- and for Non-Islanders it will be @ Rs. 5000/- for one way. Further, the flight earlier planned to operate on 28.07.2016 stands cancelled.
Passengers intending to travel on above chartered flight from Port Blair to Kolkata/ Kolkata to Port Blair can book their tickets w.e.f 26th July, 2016, 10 AM onwards from any of the following offices as per the convenience of the passengers.
Any of the Common Service Centers (CSC)s – e-Dweep outlets; Counter at Inter-Island Helicopter Terminal, Port Blair; Office of Dy. Commissioner (Nicobar), Car Nicobar; Office of Dy. Commissioner (North & Middle Andaman), Mayabunder; Office of the Dy. Resident Commissioner, A&N Bhawan, Kolkata and Office of Asst. Director, Shipping Services, Chennai.
