Port Blair, July 18: To help the needy students of these islands, the Sudhangshubala Foundation Trust, Kolkata has decided to bear the entire cost of education of 12 meritorious students from Andaman and Nicobar Islands who have passed entrance examination for admission in MBBS course anywhere at mainland or ANIIMS, but are unable to pursue studies due to economic reasons. An advertisement to this effect was published in local newspapers during April and May 2016 and the last date for submission of applications was fixed on July 30. Since the results of the examinations of NEET and ANIIMS are expected to be held mid August 2016, the parents of eligible candidates may apply for it after the results are made out to sudhangshubala.fd@gmail.com, sudhangshubalafoundationani@gmail.com. Terms and conditions of selection of the candidates, as has been advertised, will remain unchanged, said Mr Bhabesh Majumder, Founder of SFT.
