Port Blair, July 13: In the matches played today in the Inter School Football Knockout tournament for U-14 (Boys) and U-17 (Boys & Girls) organized by the Directorate of Education, SSS Carmel defeated MS RGT Vidyalaya by 3 goals to nil, RBV beat GMS Dugnabad 4-0 and SSS KV-1 trounced GMS Aberdeen by six goals to nil at JNRM Football ground in the U-14 Boys division, the U-17 Boys category, GDMS (SS) defeated GSSS Haddo 2-0 and SSS Carmel defeated GSS Junglighat by two goals to nil.
In the U-14 Boys division, GMS Sippighat defeated GSSS Bhatu Basti by two goals to one at Bhatu Basti School ground while in the U-17 category, SSS St. Mary’s beat SSS Kararaj by a single goal and SSS UPS defeated SSS MGIS by two goals to nil. In the U-17 Girls division, SSS Nirmala defeated Girls School, 2-1, SSS KV-1 defeated GSSS Port Mout by 3 goals to one and GSSS Manglutan route GSS Delanipur 5-0.
