Port Blair, July 10: The Andaman and Nicobar Police proposes to organize a short film competition on social issues like alcoholism, during abuse, eve-teasing, suicide, crime against women children etc. Entries are invited from the general public in the form of short films recorded in cameras. Besides Camera, film recorded by mobile phone would also be considered. The maximum duration of the film should not be more than 3 minute and entries can be sent to the Whatsapp No. of the A&N Police control Room (9434289970) and to the Dysp(HQ) in CD/Pen Drive. The first three winners of the contest will be awarded cash prizes of Rs 5000/-, Rs 3000/- and Rs 2000/- respectively. The last date for submitting entries is July 30, 2016, said the Superintendent of Police (HQ) in a release.
