Port Blair, June 24: State Bank of India has its lineage to Bank of Calcutta, which came into existence in June, 1806 and thus State Bank of India completes 210 years of banking business in this month. To commemorate the occasion and to reassert affinity to customers/non-customers, it has been decided by the State Bank of India to hold Town Hall Meetings on this day throughout the country. Likewise SBI Regional Office Port Blair will be organising Town Hall Meeting on 28th June 2016 at 4.00 PM at Tagore Govt. College of Education Auditorium, Port Blair. In this occasion Shri Anindo Majumdar, Chief Secretary, will be the chief guest. All citizens are invited to attend the program.
