Port Blair, June 5: The Member of Parliament, Mr Bishnu Pada Ray visited UP Tekri area of Sippighat on Sunday and met the family members of Ms Kamna Tiwari, who was recently attacked (attempt to murder) by an unknown person near her residence. He inquired about her health and assured all possible support. Later, the MP held a public meeting and interacted on the major issues of Sippighat area. He also informed the people that during last two years so many welfare schemes have been implemented for the benefit of the people. He urged them to get benefit of it particularly the recently launched Health Card scheme. Smt. Saraswati Narayan, Ex-Pradhan of Sippighat and Shri Raj Govind (Sonu), Member of Zilla Parishad also present in the meeting. People also handover their representation to the MP regarding the major concerns of the area.
