Port Blair, May 25: The President, Mr Girish Arora and all members of Andaman Chamber of Commerce & Industry have expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister of India and Union Minister of Urban Development for selection Port Blair among 23 cities under the Smart City Mission after the Fast Track Smart City Challenge. The ACCI also expressed gratitude to the Lt. Governor, A&N Islands, Member of Parliament, A&N Administration, Chairperson, PBMC and Secretary, PBMC for their untiring efforts to get Port Blair selected under the Smart City Mission. The ACCI also congratulated the citizens of A&N Islands.
With the development of Smart City all residents including the business community expect Port Blair to be equipped with modern infrastructure which will enhance the quality of life, a clean and sustainable environment through application of some smart solutions thereby change the life style of the people, said Mr Arora expressing gratitude to all who contributed for micro planning exercise which led to formulation of various schemes.
