Port Blair, April 20: During summer holidays, a large number of islanders are expected to visit Chennai for admissions in colleges, medical treatment, check-up and on holiday trips. As rooms/dormitories in Andaman House at Chennai are very limited, it may not be possible to accommodate all the visiting Islanders in the Guest Houses.
As such, all Islanders intending to visit Chennai have been requested to confirm availability of rooms in Guest Houses at Chennai and plan their visit and stay accordingly. Intending Islanders may confirm availability a day before arrival in the over telephone numbers Andaman House, Anna Nagar (044-26549294/95) and Andaman House, KK Nagar (044-24744715).
Further, as there is no system of advance reservation in Andaman House at Chennai, it is clarified that request letters does not confirm the availability/reservation of rooms at Andaman House at Chennai.
