Port Blair, April 17: The Department of Art and Culture will organize a series of events like heritage walk, photo exhibition, heritage quiz and other befitting programmes to celebrate World Heritage Day on April 18 to create awareness towards the preservation of heritage of the islands and to enjoy heritage as not only the past but a living tradition.
A heritage walk within Aberdeen is being finalized to explore the lesser known parts of the city. The heritage walk will commence from Andaman Club, near Netaji Stadium on April 18 at 6 am. All interested persons, students, tourists, tour guides and general public are requested to reach the venue at 5.45 a.m. to join the heritage walk.
